T. S.  FOCUS FOR SPRING 2017
Dear Members & Friends,

In many cultures, the New Year is celebrated at the spring equinox.  Here in the south Florida, the
changes in nature are not as obvious as in colder climates.  Spring, is a beautiful as well as a
symbolic sign of renewal. In the North, as the first green shoots of grass and flowers emerge from
the earth again, the first signs of organic life are a joy to observe; a sure sign that winter is passing.
This spring I would like extend a special welcome to our two new members, Juliet Cardillo and Marla
Past.  Marla will host a new class: ‘The Power of NOW’ on Monday evenings.
I would like to remind everyone of the upcoming TS gathering held at San Carlos Retreat Center,
Delray Beach, FL on May 5-7. The registration form must be sent in before April 15th.
The theme for this year’s gathering is “What Transformation Means in Your Life: From the Ancient
Wisdom to our Quantum Times.”   We will have two wonderful key speakers: Professor Aryel Sanat,
author of ‘The Inner Life of Krishnamurti’ and David Bruce, our National Secretary, who will speak
on ‘The Voice of the Silence’, a theosophical classic.  A reminder, you do not have to be a TS
member to attend.

There is a separate channel for TSA webinars (a series of classes held via the internet), and you
can access these free classes in theosophy here

With appreciation and Love,

Renate zum Tobel

“For mind is like a mirror; it gathers dust while it reflects. It needs the gentle breezes of
Soul-Wisdom to brush away the dust of our illusions.  Seek O Beginner to blend thy Mind
and Soul…Within thy body—the shrine of thy sensations---seek in the impersonal for the
‘eternal man’; and having sought him out, look inward:  thou art Buddha.”
